L'antre de la bête – The Beast's Lair

Un petit nouveau dans la horde.

La maître des lieux m’a invité pour venir vous parler du décor du château qui sera utilisé pour le film.

Quand on pense à un château de vampire, on imagine tout de suite le côté sombre du château de conte de fées, l’immense bâtisse gothique perchée sur sa colline.

Mais comme vous avez pu le constater en lisant ces pages,  point de vampire glamour ici. Logiquement le décor devait s’éloigner des stéréotypes, et quoi de mieux pour assombrir l’atmosphère qu’une ruine, de prime abord abandonnée, au milieu d’une épaisse forêt.

Mais avant de se salir les mains je voudrais partager avec vous ces quelques clichés.

The house master invited me to talk to you about the miniature castle that will be used for the movie.

When we think of a vampire castle, we imagine right away the dark side of a fairy tale castle, the enormous structure standing above the surrounding on its hill.

But has you most certainly noticed going through this pages, there is no glamorous vampire here. Consequently the scenery should alienate the stereotypes, and what’s best to darken the atmosphere than a supposed abandoned ruin, lost in a dense forest.

But before we gets our hands dirty I would like to share with you those few pictures.

       

Vous êtes maintenant seul dans la foret, la nuit est sombre et fraiche, ne sachant pas bien comment retrouver votre chemin vous errez sans but, quand au loin un bâtiment se dessine…

Now you’re alone in the forest, the night is dark and cold, not knowing exactly how to find your way back, you’re wandering goalless, when you notice a building in the distance...
